This is a 4-week micro course for adults who are the beginningest of beginners when it comes to horses! Maybe you have always wanted to know about horses but never had the chance. Maybe you have a child or grandchild who is into horses and you feel like a total newbie. This course will set you up!

About the event
Welcome to the exciting world of horses, where you’ll learn much more than just how to pet these magnificent animals! Over the course of four weeks, every Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM, you’ll explore the captivating realm of horses. You will learn about horse behavior and learning methods from a scientific and practical perspective, learn basic grooming and safe handling (including haltering and leading), basic health and nutrition, and spend plenty of time in close proximity to these amazing animals. This is an unmounted (non-riding) class. Here there is no judgment, no dumb questions. Just a safe space to learn and enjoy.
Who is this for?
Any adult new to horses - ages 21-101 years old!
Anyone just wanting to learn something new and be outdoors breathing the farm air.
Anyone with a healthy fear of horses after some experience as a child wanting to regain confidence.
